About

Ashley Inman is a writer and foreign policy professional. In both capacities, her work focuses on re-centering the narrative of international conflict around those most affected by it. She has appeared as a guest on CNN, the American Diplomat podcast, and numerous international affairs conferences.

 

A Florida native, Ashley has lived and worked in Tanzania, Washington D.C., Croatia, Poland, France, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Morocco, and Sri Lanka. She received her M.S.F.S. from Georgetown University and B.A. in International Studies and Political Science from the University of Florida, where she was an Honors Scholar, International Scholar, and an internationally recognized policy debater. She speaks Kiswahili, Croatian, and Arabic.  

 

Ashley currently lives in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, with her husband and two cats. She can be found scuba diving, practicing aerial acrobatics, or taking bar trivia a shade too seriously.
